The microclimate characteristics of Ca' Montalbano vineyards are unique to other wine producers in Romagna Territory.  The high altitude (381 meters on the sea level) , which helps the grape vignes to grow in cold winters and hot dry summers, allowing the harvest period to be forwarded in the end of summer long dry days of sun exposure. We have fertile soil with a deep clay presence in minerals composition and intense rainy springs that donates to our products an intense characteristic flavor. The grapes grow at lower temperatures than most vinyards. This location has given a unique identity to our wine production in the region.Our Wines are derived from a prudent harvest, where the grapes are collected by exclusively by hand for preserving their special characteristics for a good wine production process, the strong flavors and contrasts
 between the sandstone and the soils fertile substrate  make our vineyards compatible with a conscious and careful harvest. Today, after more than 30 years of research in the cellar, Ca 'Montalbano believes in a range of modern wine products specifically designed for selected changing markets.  Our production uses steel vinification at controlled temperatures,  through delicate passages in durmast barrel and respectful refining passages for the liveliness of tannins and a fresh delicate spirit in the white wines.  Preserving the characteristic tones of grapes such as Sangiovese, Cabernet, and Chardonnay, which, indicate and promote modern approach to viticulture.
